Mum Got Sick On Our Holiday
About this video
The family holiday is going fine until a dodgy plate of prawns puts his wife in bed for the week. From her sickbed she asks the stepdad to keep her daughter Harriet company, a request Harriet is delighted to interpret creatively. Episode 1 brings sun cream for a back she claims she cannot reach, double meanings flying, and a phone call where she lies to her mother for him, badly. A curtained cabana gets booked, supposedly for the shade. In episode 2 she confesses she has been watching him since the wedding, and the pool crowd is not the only audience.
Why it clicks
The tension lives in the near misses: a mother texting from upstairs, a stepdaughter far too good at pretending and a stepdad who knows he should say no. The opening episode asks for no sign-up and keeps things flirty.
Watch it when: A lazy-evening tease by the pool, forbidden fruit included, delivered with a very British sense of humor.
