With the boss overseas, Nate's only job is keeping an eye on his wife, and she's noticed how thoroughly he does it.

Nate gets a simple assignment from his boss: watch the boss's wife, Lucy, while the boss spends a week in Singapore. He is paid generously and reports by phone every night at ten. The pool, however, tells another story. Lucy knows exactly why he is there and changes into something red the moment her husband's car pulls away. By the end of the first night, the boss has asked Nate to sleep at the house, in the guest room beside hers. Episode 2 opens with another call, this time sending Nate upstairs to see how Lucy is doing, and her question: is he still only checking?

Why it clicks

A husband who practically invites the problem himself. The tension lives in those nightly calls and in what Nate decides to say. The free episodes tease around the guest-room door but keep it closed.
