My Dad’s Bride Wants Me First!

About this video

A Saturday wedding, a best man with endless duties and a bride who keeps finding new ways to need him.

The groom is his father, the wedding is Saturday, and the best man's duties quickly become a full-time job. The bride, Margot, is close to his own age, charming and in no hurry to behave. Episode 1 starts with introductions, then a dress that needs zipping while dad stands guard on the other side of a door, and closes with her explaining the real purpose of a best man. Episode 2 brings in Dahlia, her stepsister and maid of honor, who announces a tradition that pairs her with him. Garters change hands. Someone mentions a present. The guest list just got complicated.

Why it clicks

Weddings come with built-in rules, and every one of them gets bent here. Two women, one groom's son and a father a single room away give the story a constant ticking clock, and the free episodes keep to teasing.

Watch it when: Ideal for a mood somewhere between scandal and slapstick, with a ceremony hanging over everything.
