My Best Friend's Mom Has One Rule

About this video

Housesitting looked easy until his best friend's mother appeared in a towel, laid down one rule and made it irresistible to break.

Jake agrees to check on a friend's house while Tyler is out of town, and nobody mentions that Tyler's mother lives there. Margot Massie walks in wrapped in a wet towel, wants to know who he is and sets a house rule on the spot: he must stay out of her bedroom. Jake nods obediently and spends the evening arguing with himself. In episode 2 he breaks the rule almost immediately, and Margot, calm as ever, turns it inside out with a single line about whose room is whose.

Why it clicks

One sign on a door and a hostess who can make a rule sound like an invitation. The comedy lives in how seriously Jake takes the instructions. The free episodes lean on innuendo and a closed door.

Watch it when: Perfect for a night when you want a cool older woman, a flustered housesitter and a rule meant to be broken.
