Packing Up My Best Friend's Mom

About this video

One favor for his best friend: pack up the freshly divorced mom before Friday. She has her own plans for the week.

Rory can't leave his flight on time, so his best friend gets the van and the job: help his newly single mom move out of the family house before it sells on Friday. The helper arrives expecting boxes. She greets him with sorting questions and a way of looking at him that Rory never mentioned. Episode 1 is the first day of keep or toss, a few rooms and a viewing schedule that keeps interrupting. Episode 2 reaches her bedroom, where a friend named Tamsin drops by, tries to borrow the helper and gets politely turned down. The house is nearly empty. The week isn't.

Why it clicks

Packing up a life is the perfect excuse for closeness: every drawer is a memory and every pause is an invitation. It's tender, a little wicked, and the free episodes keep the heat low and the tension high.

Watch it when: Save it for a mellow night when you like warmth, a bit of mischief and a woman starting over.
