Thanksgiving With My Best Friend's Mom

About this video

Nowhere to go for the holiday, so a best friend brings him home, and the hostess promptly drafts him as her kitchen helper.

Ryan would be spending Thanksgiving alone until best friend Kyle hauls him home with one warning: stop ogling his mother. Ryan ignores it. Lexi Luna plays Kyle's mother, ruling the kitchen and in desperate need of help with the bird, an apron and a pair of buttery hands. Episode 1 makes sure Ryan is the one she picks, while the men shout at the television. Episode 2 keeps the football on in the background, the oven ticking, and the pie, she warns, dangerously hot. Everyone else is just one room away.

Why it clicks

Lexi Luna is on screen as an AI double made under license, so the real Lexi was nowhere near the set. The comedy is a loud living room next to a very quiet kitchen, with a hostess who runs both. Free episodes stay at innuendo and flour, nothing more.

Watch it when: Best saved for a holiday week when you would like your comfort food with a side of mischief.
