YES MA'AM

About this video

Basic training gets tricky when the sergeant everyone fears decides the newest recruit is hers, and the Colonel is watching.

Day one at basic, and a new recruit is already making enemies. Sergeant Diana Demont, the commanding officer everyone fears and quietly admires, sends him up a hill at a run and announces that he's hers now. Then the Colonel arrives, and the recruit can't tell whether the two are siblings or married. Episode 1 closes with a summons to her office for discipline. In episode 2 he scrubs her floor on his knees while she showers down the hall, and the order that follows has nothing to do with cleaning.

Why it clicks

Rank does all the flirting here: she gives the orders, he obeys, and every punishment sounds suspiciously like a reward. Thirty-five episodes, with the two free ones staying on the tease. Sergeant Diana Demont is a Candy character, and she shows up in other Candy series as well.

Watch it when: Salute this one on a night when you want a bossy uniform fantasy and a commander who enjoys being obeyed.
