Family Reunion: My New Step-Cousin

About this video

At a ranch reunion, her boyfriend is busy with a horse, which leaves plenty of time for the new step-cousin.

Lea arrives at a family reunion on a ranch with her boyfriend, who spends the visit admiring a colt. She meets Jake, a brand-new step-cousin, and the chemistry is immediate. He is polite, she is curious, and everyone keeps insisting the two of them are only loosely connected by blood. Episode 1 closes with the family arranging a ranch tour on horseback for Lea tomorrow, which she has been wanting all day. Episode 2 is stolen time: the boyfriend is twenty feet away, the cousins whisper, and keeping quiet becomes a challenge.

Why it clicks

A farm country taboo with a wink: the boyfriend is obsessed with horses, the step-cousin is not, and the whole family keeps making it easy. Anyone can press play on episode 1, which stays on banter, with the close calls arriving in episode 2.

Watch it when: For rural fantasies where nobody is really related, everybody is flirting and the horse gets all the attention.
