I Won My Best Friend's Girlfriend

About this video

A graphics card was supposed to be the whole job. But Sofia is home alone and her boyfriend's friend is in no hurry.

Sofia says goodbye to her boyfriend Jake at the start of his big conference trip, with a kiss, breakfast and a promise of dessert later. Minutes after he leaves, Jake texts that a friend is coming to drop off a new graphics card, and the friend is said to be handy with computers. The friend turns up and Sofia welcomes him in. In episode 2 he sets up the installation in Jake's office, while Sofia announces she is about to start her workout, which sounds perfectly harmless. When he finishes and calls out her name, nobody answers, and the title starts to make sense.

Why it clicks

A tech-support visit that turns into something else, with the title doing the teasing in advance and a boyfriend far away on business. Free episodes stay on glances, workout excuses and unspoken intentions, never graphic.

Watch it when: Everyday errands rarely go this gloriously off the rails, and nobody here is pretending to be good.
