Her Stepmom Is the Boss

About this video

The job came from his girlfriend. The boss is her stepmother, who sees everything and wants him in the office after hours.

Jake needed work, and his girlfriend knew exactly who to call: her glamorous stepmother, Margot Vey, who runs the entire department. Episode 1 is his first day under her thumb. She tears a presentation apart, clears the room and singles out the one man brave enough to be honest with her. Then she sets a late appointment, and he spends the walk to her office rehearsing excuses while his phone buzzes with sweet messages. Episode 2 is that appointment. The door gets locked, his loyalty gets tested, and a call from the club reminds everyone who signs his paycheck. Margot stays perfectly calm throughout. Jake does not.

Why it clicks

Office politics with the worst chain of command imaginable: she is the boss, she is his girlfriend's stepmother, and she holds his job in one hand. It's all power and timing, and the free part stays on glances and closed doors.

Watch it when: Press play if a composed, commanding woman who always gets her way is your idea of a good evening.
