Two women, one broke roommate, and a bet that rewrites the lease. The one rule: he must never learn he is the prize.

Ren has a spare room and a longtime crush named Yama, so he offers her the room, and the arrangement runs on coffee, toast and furtive glances. In episode 1 she catches him staring, he blames the toast, and she nearly confesses something before backing off. Then Yama's best friend Mira, a human wildcard, shows up unannounced, suitcase in hand. Episode 2 explains why: Dorian ended things and kicked her out. Ren has bad news of his own, since he was fired that morning, so a third roommate splitting rent seems wise. Mira then dares Yama to a contest: whichever of them Ren falls for wins, and Ren must never find out the whole thing was a contest.
